"With All that I Am"
The original of “With All I Am” is rendered on the vulnerable, organic surface of raw cotton, is the first intention in the dedication to its quiet strength and enduring love. A deliberate visual that honors decades of silent struggle. The fissures and breaks in his form are not of weakness, but the invisible scars those battling their minds face. The focal point of the anatomical cradled with the impossible tenderness of loving someone with an unrelenting capacity amongst deep personal trials.
This piece was created from the greatest example of love I have ever known. My grandfather. This is a small glimpse of the love he poured into those around him. And the earth-shattering truth after working through 40 years of depression, is he should of had nothing to give us, but he was so gentle with our hearts. Never once passing on the darkest realties he faced. The true meaning of unwavering love, so freely given.
And that is enough. It always was enough.
